Tasty Recipes review

A recipe card plugin from WP Tasty with a free Lite edition since 2025. Paid plans all include the same features and differ mainly in the number of sites.

Best for: Bloggers who want a simple, opinionated card and plan to use the rest of the WP Tasty suite for links, pins and round-ups.

Strengths / Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Every paid plan includes the full feature set.
  • JSON-LD and Guided Recipes markup are free in the Lite edition.
  • Affiliate links on cards are free.
  • Imports from 11 other recipe plugins.

Weaknesses

  • No built-in nutrition calculator; it relies on Nutrifox, a separate subscription.
  • Listed prices were introductory and renew $50 higher.
  • No visitor submissions, collections or meal planner listed.
  • The free edition is new, so it has only a handful of ratings.
